Dr. Maria Syed graduated from the University of Alberta, Class of 2017.

Dr. Syed practices all aspects of General dentistry, ranging from restorative to surgery to endodontics to pediatrics. She loves educating and working with all her patients! Every patient is unique and she really loves that every day of her practice is different and she can provide unique, catered care for each one of her patients. Her goal is to make sure they feel comfortable in her chair and are educated on all their treatment options. Dr. Syed is known for making her patients feel comfortable and at ease.

She belongs to the Alberta Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association

Outside of work, she loves travelling, painting, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Syed is a wife and a mother to two gorgeous little boys.

She supports Kindness in Action – A dental organization that provides free dental care in multiple countries.

 

Dr. Brianne Lamey graduated from the University of Alberta in June of 2012. She is originally from the Ponoka area and has been working at Riverside Dental Centre since 2013. She is excited to be in Red Deer. Her interests are in General Family Dentistry and she is great with kids.

Dr. Tracy Dawes graduated in 1997 from the University of Alberta. Dr. Dawes and her team provide gentle dental care for both children and adults. She believes in providing the best dental care possible for all her patients. She is also well known and active in the community.

Dr. Miranda Wong was born and raised in Calgary. She attended the University of Calgary and received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Moving to Vancouver, she completed the dentistry program at the University of British Columbia. After graduation, she returned to Alberta and has been residing in Red Deer since 2020.

Dr. Miranda’s involvement with community outreach programs includes traveling to rural areas of Jamaica to provide dental care to the underprivileged. She has also provided volunteer care at low-income community clinics in the Vancouver area.

As a general dentist, Dr. Miranda is passionate about educating people to have a better understanding of their oral health. She believes that each patient has individual needs and enjoys working with people to discover what suits them best. She loves helping people keep their teeth healthy by restoring the function and esthetics of their smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Miranda enjoys traveling to learn about new cultures and new foods. She also enjoys staying active by playing badminton, bike riding, hiking, and snowboarding.

Dr. Devon Lynn was born, raised and attended college in Red Deer. He completed his first degree at the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science. The next adventure would take Dr. Lynn and his wife Tiffany across the world to study dentistry in Australia. While living abroad, they welcomed two sons into their lives and a third son shortly after returning to Canada.

Dr. Lynn values kindness and honesty as well as the delivery of quality dental care. He believes that he can make a difference in patients’ lives by encouraging them to be active in their treatment decisions and help educate them as to how they can maintain a healthy smile for life. Dr. Lynn is aware that some may feel uncomfortable in the dental environment or find it stressful, and he is happy to explore sedation options with his patients to help them achieve maximum comfort for their treatment.

When not at work, Dr Lynn enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, rock climbing, snowboarding and cooking.

Dr. Devon Lynn is a registered member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta.
