Dr. Darren Leung was born and raised in beautiful British Columbia. An avid traveler, Dr. Leung received his dental education in Australia where he graduated with high achievement. He has worked in various public dental hospitals across Australia, gaining experience and mentorship in treating a vast array of routine and complex cases. Despite the kangaroos and beautiful weather in Australia, he is very happy to be back in his hometown Vancouver!

Dr. Leung can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Dr. Leung is committed to keeping up to date with the latest evidence-based dentistry and technology through his passion of learning and continuing education. Currently, he has a special interest in clear aligners (Invisalign) treatment and is furthering his knowledge by being part of local study clubs and mentorship programs.

Dr. Leung’s treatment philosophy is to optimize and encourage maintenance of one’s natural dentition. Hence, he is proficient in endodontics (root canal treatments), prosthodontics (reconstruction of function and cosmetics) and periodontics (treatment and maintenance of gum and supporting structure). Dr. Leung puts a great emphasis on building a positive patient-doctor relationship. He understands and empathizes with patients and thrives to provide patient-centered care and service to achieve the best outcome.

In his spare time, Dr. Leung loves to new cooking recipes and eating delicious food. He also has a passion for music and enjoys playing guitar.
