Dr. Melody Yao attended the University of Western Ontario for her undergraduate degree and graduated from the University of Toronto in dentistry in 2019. She performed her residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Yao is very excited to be part of the team at Bayview Village Dental.

Dr. Yao’s greatest joys are meeting new patients and supporting them on their oral health journey. She is truly committed to her patients and her community. She interned at the World Health Organization, working on improving global oral health systems, and volunteered as a dentist in rural elementary schools and orphanages in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic.

When she is not involved in dentistry, Dr. Yao enjoys Formula 1, hiking, scuba diving, or baking delicious treats!
