Dr. Eichstadt was born and raised in Chilliwack. After attending Chilliwack Senior High, he went to Trinity Western College in Langley for a year. He continued his studies at UBC where he received his Dental Degree. He began his dental career in a large group practice in Prince George where he worked for 10 years, performing a wide variety of dental procedures. He returned to Chilliwack in 1988.

He has taken a great number of post graduate courses, including cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry. He has taken special training in the US for complex implant treatment and has been involved in the UBC dental implant study club. He loves to learn and improve his skills. He practices a very broad scope of dental care including sedation. He enjoys the challenges of providing top quality care for his patients in a gentle and caring manner.

Dr. Eichstadt is happily married to his wife of 34 years, has two sons and a lovely new daughter-in-law. He enjoys travelling, hiking, squash, and backcountry skiing. He has a strong drive to meet and exceed patient needs and to provide his patients with the highest care and comfort. He is committed to further education to continually improve and keep his practice current with the latest advances and developments in the field of dentistry.
