Dr. Tang received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto, where she also received her Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Biotechnology degrees.

She subsequently worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a time before moving on to dentistry.

Dr. Tang’s academic, clinical and extracurricular achievements at the Faculty of Dentistry were recognized by the Canadian Dental Association Student Leadership Award, the Ontario Dental Association Proficiency Award, and the University of Toronto Student Leadership Award (formerly the Cressy Award).

Outside of private practice, Dr. Tang is a part-time clinical instructor at the U of T undergraduate clinic.

Dr. Tang enjoys baking, knitting, listening to podcasts and travelling in her spare time.
